I’m Katie Lindsay, and I am a writer, director, and producer of new plays, musicals and reimagined classics.
My work is playful, ensemble-driven, and visually theatrical. I work in Los Angeles, New York, and around the country. As a writer, I was recently commissioned by Geffen Playhouse and Center Theatre Group. As a director, one of my favorite projects to date is Menstruation: A Period Piece by Miranda Rose Hall. As a producer, I am currently co-producing Cats: The Jellicle Ball on Broadway. Red Emma & the Mad Monk, which I co-created with playwright Alexis Roblan, played to sold out houses at The Tank, and was named a NYTimes Critic’s Pick.
